This is Nicki's next door neighbors little cousin's distant coworker from spain. Just Kidding, it's our nephew, James. He is known simply as "the bear" and you can clearly see why.

MISUSE OF TECHNOLOGY

It's fun to abuse the gifts of rapidly advancing technology and one way is to text each other from mere feet apart or tweet someone who is sitting in the same room or let your cat own AND operate his own phone. I'm not saying it's cost effective, but it's fun. I like to believe the cat is actually texting someone and that WAGBLE is an actual word in cat speak.

MUCHA

This is the Menu from my wedding a year a go and yes, that means it's not new art and yes, this is in the art nouveau style. I'm sure you already know, but for those who don't it was an international movement of style that peaked in the 1890's. The name art nouveau is French for new art. The style is very decorative with an attention to line art, lush flowers, and soft color. The style of this illustration is more closely linked to that of the Mucha Style, named after an under-appreciated Czech illustrator, Alphonse Mucha. There will be a test on the 4th of July. No exceptions.

RUN BUNNY RUN!!!!!!

Just because a T-Rex looks cute, doesn't mean it is. Infact it probably mean's it's poisonous or extra Strong. I know nothing about why things are cute as you can tell, but in this case I would advise the bunny to run for it's life. That T REX is not fooling anyone hiding behind that stick. geezzz

This is my cat Sinn Fein. I lost him when my ex roommate Bob took him. We didn't take it to court, but maybe I should have. I miss him. Great cat/killer. You can see how ferocious he is. Just look at HIM!

SPONGEBOB NEVER HAD A FIGHTING CHANCE

This is supposed to be seen in amusing play on society type of way and not meant to be as dark as it might look. In my current job I've been drawing SpongeBob for over 5 years for various types of products and suffice to say I think I'm over it. As for the drawing, I guess I'm just getting some frustration out.

MY FIRST POST

My name is Fred and I like to draw.... and share, so I'm going to try this blog thing and see if I like it. I'm going to try to post a sketch a day, but I'm not promising anything. I lose interest.. and fast these days. My original idea was to draw a picture of my pregnant wife once a week and I'll be posting those too, but in the meantime I'm going be posting random crap. Alright, enough blabbering. Let's put this stuff in the oven and see if it bakes.
